Get Ready to Brawl with Artist Tom Morgan’s INCREDIBLE HULK

Smashing!

By WALT GROGAN

I’m a big fan of Tom Morgan’s artwork! He has the uncanny ability to channel that classic Marvel art style that I miss.

Recently, he posted this image of the Incredible Hulk on his Facebook page, describing it this way: “The early HULK was more of a brawler than the current Jade Giant. I miss this version.”

You and me both, Tom! You and me both!

Well, when I see something this cool, I just can’t hold back so I gave it the vintage coloring it so rightly deserves! Hulk might not be smashing anything here, but I’m kind of imagining that he’s getting ready to wallop the Thing with a knuckle sandwich!

You can see more of Tom’s amazing artwork at his aforementioned Facebook page!

  1. Very nice. The color really sets the tone. I sure miss this style. Would love to see more of the others if time allows. (Not on FB.)

  2. I like this. Is this the same Tom Morgan who drew Codename Strikeforce? Only one issue came out. I was bummed that issue 2 never came out.
I just pulled it out the other day, it’s really good.
