GEORGE PEREZ NEW TEEN TITANS Artist’s Edition Coming in 2026

Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 is giving the people what they want…

Scott Dunbier announced two new projects Friday at San Diego Comic-Con that are utterly extraordinary: George Perez’s New Teen Titans’ Artist’s Edition and The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition.

That is titanic and amazing.

Click here for more on the Ditko Spider-Man book, but here’s what you need to know about the Perez Titans book — so far:

It will be roughly 200 pages of Perez’s original The New Teen Titans art, including covers and interior pages. Perez’s collaborator, writer Marv Wolfman, wrote the introduction.

The book — which replicates the illustrator’s original art — is due in 2026. It will measure 12″ x 17″ but the final page count, price and release date have yet to be determined.

Several thoughts:

— Fans for years have been practically begging for a Perez Artist’s Edition. Dunbier gave us a similarly sought-after Neal Adams DC Classics Artist’s Edition as he was walking out the door at IDW. (There’s also that Act 4 Jim Aparo edition in the works.)

— Adams will always be my favorite. Always. But Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s The New Teen Titans had a dramatic effect on me as a teenage reader. Getting the opportunity to see Perez’s precise linework like this makes my head spin.

— This is just a quick-hit story. Come back to 13th Dimension for much more in the weeks and months ahead.

  4. I will likely buy this, but I really wish they were doing an Artist’s Edition of Perez’s run on Wonder Woman which, for me, was the strongest artwork of his career. That two-year run was when he really became a master of his craft.
