FIRST LOOK: The BAT-MAN Meets SUPERMAN in February’s SECOND KNIGHT Finale

Mike Perkins’ main cover has finally been released…

DC in October released the official description of Dan Jurgens and Mike Perkins’ The Bat-Man: Second Knight #3 but the placeholder art was from the previous issue.

Dig this FIRST LOOK at Perkins’ actual cover for the mini’s finale — featuring a certain Man of Steel:

THE BAT-MAN SECOND KNIGHT #3 (OF 3) CVR A MIKE PERKINS (MR)

By Dan Jurgens and Mike Perkins

THE SCARECROW SETS HIS SIGHTS ON CITY HALL! A cloud of fear has settled over the city, and the Scarecrow has the people of Gotham right where he wants them. Jim Gordon will take the fight right to Scarecrow’s seat of power…City Hall! But will Gordon have to challenge him on his own? Where’s the Bat-Man? The Dark Knight has found himself staring down a power unlike any he’s ever seen: a man of unlimited strength. A superman. And he has a lot of questions for the Caped Crusader. Will these two find common ground in time to thwart the Scarecrow and Hangman’s endgame?

Several thoughts:

— There’s been some confusion over the length of this series. It’s confirmed to be the original three issues.

Issue #1 is already out. Issue #2 has been moved from November to Dec. 17. This issue, as you see above, is now set for February.

— There are two variant covers: one by Marc Aspinall, as yet unseen, and the other by Stephanie Hans, above.

— I would love if these guys kept going with three-issue series every year, taking us through the ’40s.
