A few thoughts:
— Why this issue now? Well, come September, DC has a brand-new Red Hood series kicking off.
— The complete list of the second Super Powers wave can be found here. Will there be a third? Don’t know yet. They are popular, though.
— This may be the final issue of the wave, but there are still two covers that haven’t been revealed: August’s Detective Comics #880 Facsimile Edition, with Batman (Dick Grayson), and the Batman: Harley Quinn #1 Facsimile Edition, with Harley.
— I’m still amazed DC hasn’t done a Facsimile Edition of 1951’s Detective Comics #168, which gave us the Joker’s original Red Hood origin.
— Obligatory Price Comparison: An unslabbed, NM copy of an original Batman #635 recently sold on eBay for $135.
— As I mentioned at the outset, there are two other top-notch Facsimiles coming in September. Check out the links below.

My OCD is now getting frustrated with all the Batman issues we *don’t* have reprinted. By September, a facsimile collector could have Batman #608-619, but then #635 and #655. Argh.
