It’s almost here…
Citizens, your patience is paying off.
The much sought-after Batman ’66 Shakespeare vinyl bust bank from Diamond Select Toys is due Wednesday 7/26, the company folks tell us.
That’s right, less than two weeks away.
We first showed you this life-size replica, sculpted by Paul Harding, almost a year and a half ago when it debuted at Toy Fair 2016:
It’s 20 inches tall and comes complete with a hinged neck, faux dial and button, and an unobtrusive coin slot should you want to use it to store your millions. (Sliding bookcase not included.)

Shakespeare ’66 lists for $85 but a quick sweep around the web shows you can get it for less. I always recommend shopping around. You should also check with your local comics shop because it’s always best to support them, I say.
No matter what, judging by the response I get every time I write about this Bat-beaut, July 26 will be a big day of celebration across Gotham.
