Shhhhhh! Let’s keep this between us…
Look, I’m not gonna look a gift seahorse in the mouth, but I’m both pleased and puzzled that the beautifully remastered 1967 Filmation Aquaman cartoons — along with the “super superhero” shorts starring the Justice League, et al — are still on HBO Max about a week after they were supposed to be removed.
Same goes for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.
Why? No idea — but here’s how we got to this point: Late last year I mistakenly reported that the four classic series were scheduled to be knocked off the platform at the end of 2022. But I misread the list released by the streamer. They were due to be removed at the end of January. A week later, however, and they’re all still there.
Now, I’m not calling HBO Max for comment because I don’t want them to correct their mistake!
So, let’s try to keep it our little secret, OK?
