Fave Nick Cardy Cover? Too Many, By AMANDA CONNER

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for Amanda Conner‘s art. So when I asked big-time comic folk for their fave Nick Cardy covers yesterday, I included Amanda. Didn’t hear back until today. She had a great reason: She couldn’t pick just one. Or even two. Read on. — Dan

I know I’m coming in a little late on this, but I believe you’ve just asked me one of the toughest questions on Earth! I’m a really terrible decision maker as it is, soooo …

The bad-ass chick in me loves Superman #261, with the imperious Star Sapphire getting her hot pink boot smooched by a groveling Superman, and Wonder Woman #206, with WW going toe-to-toe with Nubia, chains and  swords and all.

The silly, goofy person in me loves Aquaman #16, because, sure, THAT’S what a space-alien chick would do — primp her stripedy-purple tube- hair … and of course, Superman #281, because who WOULDN’T love a big, hairy-chested guy with a Speedo and a porn-‘stache. In thigh high boots, no less!

My inner 13-year-old boy loves Wonder Woman #205.

But for visual stunning-ness and awesome design, I’d have to go with Teen Titans #26, and Aquaman #42. I LOVE the way he worked the title into the art on that one.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out this little gem from Amanda … — Dan
