Dig these 13 GREAT FULL-PAGERS from Kirby, Ditko, Byrne — and MORE…

One of the coolest parts of Silver and Bronze Age comics was the pin-up — a one- or two-page image highlighting your favorite characters.

As they often did, Marvel turned this basic feature into an art form in and of itself, with creators like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko (as well as others from the mythical Marvel Bullpen) producing dramatic illustrations not just of headliners, but villains and supporting cast members too.

Well, as part of Marvel’s 80th anniversary, IDW on Nov. 12 is set to release Marvel Masterwork: Pin-Ups, a gorgeous hardcover collection of full-pagers and double-truck spreads — plus, in some cases, the original art itself.

And you, lucky 13th Dimension reader, get to gawk at an EXCLUSIVE selection of 13 of these pin-ups right here:

Marvel Masterwork: Pin-Ups, a 120-page hardcover edited by Craig Yoe, is due out Nov. 12 from booksellers and Nov. 13 at comics shops. It lists for $34.99.
