Remember when Batman used to smile? Neal Adams does…

What I dig most about Neal Adams’ latter-day version of Batman is that he’s unlike any Caped Crusader you see these days.

He smiles. Like he occasionally did in the Bronze Age.

He wisecracks. Like he often did in the Bronze Age.

He looks cool swinging into a scene with Robin. Like he sometimes did in the Bronze Age.

So check out this EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW of Adams’ bombastic Batman vs. Ra’s al Ghul #3.

  1. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to really embrace any of the latest Neal Adams’ work. More of the Bronze Age BATMAN is exactly what I want to see from Adams. His style certainly has changed over the years. The story telling has always left me out of the loop a bit. But, in the end of the day, it is certainly nice to see a legend still producing.

  2. Neal Adams is not a writer. Never has been. Still isn’t. If you want to see a smiling wise cracking Batman go back to the Golden Age. Batman prime.
