I don’t typically write things like this when posting previews, but here goes: Aquaman is the best ongoing superhero comic being produced right now.
Dan Abnett’s story of political intrigue is weighty yet never leaden, buoyed by sharp characterization and balanced with action and suspense. Stjepan Sejic’s lush art is gorgeous and captivating. And Dolphin is the sensational character (re-)find of 2017.
All in all, Aquaman is a potent, cinematic venture. It’s top of the reading pile every week it comes out.
