The book’s out, the page-a-day calendar is next…

Hey, if you haven’t picked up Marvel Value Stamps: A Visual History by Roy Thomas, go check out columnist Jim Beard’s rave review. Dude’s a Marvel Value Stamps maven, to be sure.

Anyway, we recently told you that Abrams ComicArts and Marvel would be following up the hardcover with the Marvel Value Stamps 2024 Day-to-Day Calendar.

Click here for the full rundown but below we’ve got an INSIDE LOOK for you. Dig these images released by Abrams:

A couple thoughts:

— I’m guessing those blank spaces will be filled with the respective months’ full calendars.

— The calendar is due Sept. 5, lists for $17.99 and runs 740 pages, according to an Amazon listing. Hmm, there are only 366 days in 2024…

  1. Calendars don’t usually have page numbers, so perhaps Amazon is counting each leaf in the “volume” as two pages, the way it would with a book — i.e., assigning numbers to each date entry and its (presumably blank) backside. That would be pretty silly — unless something were printed on the back of each date entry?
