A SNEAK PEEK at Plaid Stallions’ Toy-Ventures #10…
Plaid Stallions’ neato Toy-Ventures #10 is shipping very soon, sayeth publisher Brian Heiler — and we’ve got a groovy SNEAK PEEK at the latest installment of the mag’s history of Mego Planet of the Apes.
“Issue #10 talks about the rather loosely connected accessories produced in conjunction with the television series,” Brian said. “These items are mid-tier but feature some lovely painted artwork, rare for the range. I like the packaging so much that I played around with recreating it.
“I’ve searched yard sales for Apes toys since the early 1980s,” he added, “so Toy-Ventures is very Simian-friendly. It always will be and my goal is to create the ultimate compendium of this Mego toy line.
