Multiple angles — including the packaging!

We’re in the stretch drive to Halloween and this week we have a special daily series for you: the EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK at each of NECA’s upcoming Mego-style Ben Cooper Costumed Kids DC Comics action figures.

We kicked it off Sunday with Superman — and in the days ahead, we’ve got Wonder Woman, the Joker and Batgirl. Today, it’s Batman.

Not just that, we’ve got a deep-dive interview with NECA VP & General Manager of Product Development Randy Falk, who gives you the lowdown on the line so far — and what’s to come. (Click here.)

The DC heroes wave — aka Wave 5 — is expected to be up for pre-order in late November or December for a spring 2025 release. Each figure will list for $19.99.

Now, dig this EXCLUSIVE UP-CLOSE LOOK at the Caped Crusader — BATMAN:

Me, 1973. The pants got torn. I improvised.

— This is like getting an action figure of myself as a kid. I practically lived in my Batman play suit (the cloth one) and I still have the shirt. And I love that this Batman even has brown hair — like me! (Or like I used to have!)

— Randy Falk obviously had the same thought. Check this pic of him as a kid — and the Batman figure:

  2. This is the exact version of the playsuit I wore, and still have! One piece, no trunks, but with the printed utility belt. Notice it’s all pouches by the way. Ben Cooper was ahead of the curve! So I feel like this is a Chris action figure too!

  3. Maybe because it’s not my generation. I was born in the 80s and I have no clue what these are.

  4. When I was 7 and my brother was 4, I was Shazam (captain marvel) and he was Batman.

I’d like to get this one, but do they make swappable kids for these? I’d like to dress mine and have it represent my brother but I don’t see any AA options….
