Dig These Swingin’ Illustrations That Homage the 1967 SPIDER-MAN CARTOON

One of the greatest animated series ever debuted 56 years ago, on Sept. 9, 1967…

I love comics fans who do it for themselves, know what I mean? You might not be a comics pro but if you got talent, you got talent, and you should share it with the world when it involves something you love.

Dale Cuthbertson is a great example. He does a little freelancing but his passion is old-school cartoons, like the magnificent 1967 Spider-Man series, which debuted 56 years ago, on Sept. 9, 1967.

Dale has been posting his homages to the show on Facebook, and while he hasn’t done 13 (yet), I wanted to show them off to you for this year’s anniversary celebration.

  1. I have been a huge fan of Dale’s work. I love this images he created for the 1967 Spider-Man series and love his work on Josie and the Pussycats and Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman as well.
