Cartoonist Karl Heitmueller Jr. — best known for his Back Issue feature Prince Street News — has turned out glorious re-creations of 13 fabulous Spider-Man covers, commissioned by a couple of fans.

“All I’ll say is that a lot of Spidey’s villains are not easy to draw,” Karl (half-)joked.
