SUPERMAN OF EARTH-ONE and SUPERMAN OF EARTH-TWO: CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS

Says Anthony: Long time ago, when I first got into Mego customizing, I commissioned customizer Brian Leitner for a series of Crisis on Infinite Earths-inspired figures. Earth-One Superman/Earth-Two Superman and Supergirl/Power Girl were as far as I got, as I went in other directions before I completed Batman/Earth-2 Robin. This was one of my first attempts at the 2-pack double box. The main artwork is by George Perez and Jerry Ordway while the background art comes from the cover of Crisis on Infinite Earths #5 (one of my favorite covers of that era). The idea was to use the same look for the line but just switch out the character logos and main character art on the back.

Says Dan: Doesn’t take a genius to figure out why we’re posting this one today. The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover kicks off Sunday night on Supergirl at 8. Not just that, Anthony was instrumental in the structure of the recent GEORGE PEREZ INTERVIEWS, in which the artist discussed his take on the comics mega-event.
