Well, we’re at the end of this TOYHEM! series-within-a-series — the Custom Mego Box of the Day, by 13th Dimension contributor and customizer extraordinaire Anthony Durso.

For 13 days, we’ve brought you a wide selection of Mego boxes that might have been — and actually are, thanks to Anthony. (Click here for the full slate.)

Anyway, Custom Mego Box of the Day #12 was inspired by Robin of Earth-Two. Click here.

And now we bring you Custom Mego Box of the Day #13:

Says Anthony: Personally, I’ve wanted to do this figure for years but haven’t pulled the trigger. Recently, someone wanted a 12-inch version but they vanished after initial interest. So I downsized it to an 8-inch in the hopes it’d inspire me to finally do one myself.

Says Dan: Do it, Anthony. Do it. This is a scream. And it’s the perfect complement to Custom Mego Box of the Day #12: George Reeves Superman. (Click here.) By the way, did you know that Friday is St. Lucy’s Day? That’s got nothing to do with I Love Lucy but this still felt like a fitting note to end on. Enjoy the rest of TOYHEM! folks!

Anthony Durso is the owner of Retropolis Tees (click here) and The Toyroom toy package customizing company (click here), so make sure you check out his nifty wares.
