Holy National Pastime! Robin’s gonna throw out the first pitch for the Rochester Red Wings on June 28!

Yep, the fine folks at the AAA ballclub have the good taste to host BATMAN AND ROBIN NIGHT! Among the awesome highlights, besides Burt Ward throwing out the first pitch: An autograph appearance by Ward, the Batmobile and a post-game fireworks display — set to Batman movie music! They’re also having giveaways, including the animated disc “Son of Batman.”

I wonder if Robin got tips from pitching ace Paul Diamante when he rescued him from the evil clutches of Mr. Freeze.
