Classic X-MEN #101 Leads Marvel’s FOUR Facsimile Editions Coming in July

Yay, Facsimile Editions! The more they make, the more we’ll buy! And in July, Marvel is bringing you four of them — four! — two new editions and two re-releases (but oh, what a couple of re-releases): X-Men #101, the launch of the Phoenix Saga; All-New Marvel Now! Point One #1, with Kamala Khan’s full debut as Ms. Marvel; and The Incredible Hulk #180 and #181, the first appearances of Wolverine.

— Exact release dates and prices are to be announced. But figure on each being about four bucks.

Obligatory Price Comparison, Part 1: The Hulk Facsimile Editions were originally released in 2019 but just to show you how collectible these have become, a NM set of #181 and #182 recently sold on eBay for $76. So grab these while you can. (For further comparison, an original, unslabbed VF copy of #180 recently sold for $1,460 and an original, unslabbed VF+ #181 went for $5,300.

Obligatory Price Comparison, Part 2: An original, unslabbed NM+ copy of X-Men #101 recently went for $1,825 on eBay. A like-new, unslabbed Point One sold for $90.
