In a move that alters the face of mainstream comics, Brian Michael Bendis is leaving Marvel Comics for DC.
DC posted this statement on Twitter:
“We are beyond thrilled to welcome Brian Michael Bendis exclusively to the DC family with a multi-year, multi-faceted deal. He’s one of the premier writers in the industry having created so many unforgettable stories wherever he’s been and we can’t wait to see what he has planned for the DC Universe.”
For his part, Bendis added: “This is real. I love you all. Change is good. Change is healthy. I am bursting with ideas and inspirations. Details to come! Stay Tuned!”
Bendis is one of Marvel’s pillars so this move is nothing short of extraordinary.
It’s like Byrne moving to DC in the ’80s.
More to come, for sure.

Brian Michael Bendis’s “Superman” saga is completely nonsensical. I’ve been reading it online and can see WHY it makes no sense.
