Actually not a surprise…

The Black Canary Super Powers variant cover set for the upcoming Justice League of America #200 Facsimile Edition has been cancelled — but don’t be surprised if it shows up somewhere at a different time.
See, the JLA #200 Facsimile is treasury-size and while DC solicited the Black Canary variant with it, it really didn’t make much sense given that the rest of the Super Powers variants are standard dimensions (as they should be, to replicate the idea of the packaging).
DC hasn’t made an announcement but there’s a note on Lunar Distribution’s site that it has been cancelled.

That said, I imagine the cover, by Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and Alex Saviuk, will be used with a different series or a different Facsimile Edition at some point. That’s pure speculation but I’d be willing to wager it’s just a matter of when.
The Justice League of America #200 Facsimile Edition is due July 29, a week after its original sale date. There will also be a foil cover.
