A little bat told me that Convergence: Detective Comics #2 is one to keep an eye on this week. Who am I to argue?
Not like I needed any convincing. I really liked Part 1 — and when you have the team of Len Wein, Denys Cowan and Bill Sienkiewicz, you’re pretty much guaranteed good comics.
Throw in Earth-2 Robin with his Silver Age outfit and it’s a lock.
ALSO ON THE BATSHELVES THIS WEEK: Convergence: Shazam #2. Wait, what? Well, the Marvel Family takes on Gotham by Gaslight Batman, so that’s good enough for me. It’s also a decent trade week, with the second volume of the collected original Animated Series comics, and the fourth volume of the digital-first Legends of the Dark Knight.
