Hey’d ya hear the news? Louise Simonson and June Brigman are reuniting for a five-issue Power Pack “retro series,” as Marvel terms it, starting this January, in celebration of the title’s 40th anniversary.
Hey’d ya hear the other news? We’re reminding you of this because we’re saluting Simonson for her birthday — she was born 77 years ago on Sept. 26, 1946.
Hey’d ya hear the other, other news? She’s going to be at the fantastic Aw Yeah Comics in Harrison, N.Y., on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 12 to 2 p.m., for the store’s eighth anniversary event. She’s even bringing her husband Walt along for the ride. (I plan to go! You should too if you live in the New York metropolitan area.)
