  1. The black Spidey suit is such an anomaly. I don’t think anyone thought it was permanent, or wanted it to be. But I also don’t remember anyone really HATING it. It is extremely well designed, and cool, and looks great on a cover. The black nature of it lent itself to many different artists’ interpretations as to how to draw it. I think everyone was ok with it being just a temporary thing, but it seems to still be respected for what it was.

    Unlike Blue Superman, for instance, which I think most people could not wait for it to be over.
