13 Groovy MARVEL VALUE STAMPS You Didn’t Know Existed — Because They Didn’t

The Art of DAKOTA ALEXANDER: Hey, what’s Batman doing there?

By DAKOTA ALEXANDER

13th Dimension is certainly no stranger to Marvel Value Stamps. But I must admit that, despite my love and adoration of the Bronze Age, the stamps are one of those comics inventions that really were “before my time” and so I fall into the category of young upstarts who never quite “got it”.

That said, whenever there is a post concerning Marvel Value Stamps, there is nary a comment section that doesn’t have at least one fan conveying their upset over ruining their comics by cutting out one of these infamous stamps from their precious pages!

And while we can congregate and show support for the damaged comics in our collections, I think we can also come together and pretty much agree that the Marvel Value Stamps looked pretty darn cool.

Of course, we have showcased 13 of our favorites. (And run a ton of other stories too.)

Looking at all those great images can give a fella some ideas — even adding some characters to the collection!

So here are 13 Marvel Value Stamps that I made. Some are my versions of existing stamps, others are characters new to collection — including some of our “super friends” from the Distinguished Competition who were in crossover books around this time in comics history.

Hope you like it.
