The fan-fave artist turns 73! Here’s a tribute…
Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, one of comics’ most beloved artists, was born 73 years ago, on March 26, 1948.
Over the years, we’ve highlighted 13 COVERS multiple times, but it’s been a while since we’ve done a selection from his famous 1980s DC Comics style guides.
So here are 13 GREAT ILLUSTRATIONS — all turnarounds just for kicks.
Dig it.

These are gorgeous drawings of some of the best superhero characters in the world! I wish that every artist was a competent as Mr. Garcia-Lopez. Obviously, every artist would have their own style, but the way he composes figures is outstanding!
