A happy 91st to one of comics’ greatest inkers…

Joe Sinnott turns 91 this week — Oct. 16 to be precise. He’s one of the last living Silver Age stalwarts and for this year’s 13 COVERS salute, we return to his most celebrated work: inking Jack Kirby on Fantastic Four.

Oh, and if you want to see more Marvel-ous work by Sinnott, check out past celebrations here and here.

But wait, there’s more! If you want to see what Sinnott had to say about working with Kirby for the King’s centennial, click here.

  1. I remember his work so well. I especially loved the work he did on the Fantastic Four, but he was also fantastic on the Avengers as well. So sad to hear that he’s passed. R.I.P. Joe.
