13 DC SPECIAL COVERS to Make You Feel Good

Because it’s good to feel good…

It’s been awhile since we’ve done 13 COVERS just for kicks, for no particular reason other than the mood struck.

This time out, it’s DC Special, the 1960s-70s anthology title that was a mix of reprints and new material. The title had two stints, the first from 1968 to 1971 and the second from 1975 to 1977, all with the same numbering. (DC Special is not to be confused with DC Special Series, which was similarly a catch-all title but ran in multiple formats.)

Anyway, some of these covers are well known — by some of comics’ greatest artists — some are often overlooked, but all are groovy.

Dig it.

  1. Great covers, all–but no love for Plastic Man? Maybe we need another 13 covers…
