13 COVERS: The LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES in the Silver Age

The Legion returns — and we go back to the beginning…

So the Legion of Super-Heroes is back this week, in a fashion, with the Sept. 4 release of Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium #1, the first of a two-part series by Brian Michael Bendis and an all-star cast of artists.

The mini minseries sets out to clarify DC’s convoluted future continuity and explain how, say Kamandi, Batman Beyond and the Legion, as well as other classic forward-looking features, could all exist in the same timeline.

Sounds like fun. But a lot of longtime Legion fans are just happy to have the 31st century’s greatest superteam back in action.

So we’re here to celebrate the future’s past with 13 COVERS spotlighting the Legion in the Silver Age, from whence they came. Next month, we’ll highlight the Bronze Age.

Cool? Cool.

Long live the Legion!
