A BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE: The late Marvel great was born 100 years ago…

It was said of artist Joe Maneely — born a century ago, on Feb. 18, 1926 — that he could draw anything. We’ve published a number of galleries in the past, but for this year, we’re spotlighting his forays into such Atlas Comics horror titles as Suspense, Astonishing, and Adventures Into Weird Worlds.
These 13 COVERS range from 1950 to 1956. Maneely died at the very young age of 32 in 1958, when he fell between the cars of a moving commuter train headed home to New Jersey.
