13 COVERS: Saluting JOE GIELLA, the Oldest Living BATMAN Artist

The prolific inker turns 93…

Joe Giella — born June 27, 1928 — was not only one of comics’ busiest inkers in the Silver Age, he remains the world’s oldest living Batman artist.

But it’s been a few years since we did a 13 COVERS birthday salute featuring Giella’s work on the Dynamic Duo, so we return to Gotham this year. (Most of the covers were pencilled by Carmine Infantino. Oh, and links to The Flash and Green Lantern are below.)

Groovy.
