Dec. 26 is still a holiday for millions…
We don’t celebrate it here in the States but Boxing Day is an essential part of Christmas festivities in Great Britain, where it originated, and in dozens of other countries. The concept dates back centuries and at its heart is the idea of giving gifts or gratuities to employees or, if you’re a customer, to workers. Exactly how it’s observed depends on where you are, but at 13th Dimension, we’ve decided to do our part with 13 COVERS — BRITISH BATMAN ANNUALS, dating from the ’60s through the ’90s.
A lot of the images will be familiar to you, others definitely won’t.
But dig these 13 — we note the artist where available. (If you have info, put it in the comments!)
Enjoy the extra day off!

I have really fond memories of these UK annuals – growing up in the 90’s I always used to get the ones based on Batman: The Animated Series from my parent for Christmas which would be reprints of US “Batman Adventures” comics and puzzles etc – always great fun 🙂

The Alan Davis Robin almost looks possessed! That expression! (And, he’s ready to box!)
