13 COVERS: A STEVE RUDE Spotlight

The Steve Rude Tour is coming!

Steve “the Dude” Rude is hitting the NYC metro area over the next week, with multiple appearances culminating in a two-day stay at the East Coast Comicon.

Rude is promoting his new Nexus comic-strip newspaper, which you can check out here.

This is beautiful, especially in the oversized format.

Anyway, here’s where Steve’s going to be appearing over the next week:

— Wednesday, 4/13: Escape Pod Comics store appearance/signing. 6-9 p.m. 302 Main St, Huntington, NY. Click here for more info.

— Friday, 4/15: Dare2Draw is filming a YouTube Studio Chat with Steve. Reservations are limited, so click here for more info.

— Saturday/Sunday, 4/16-17, East Coast Comicon, Meadowlands Expo Center, Secaucus, NJ. Click here for tickets and info.

Now, of course, whenever we salute a favorite artist at 13th Dimension, we present 13 COVERS. So to whet your Rude appetite, here are 13 of his best from over the decades, in no particular order.

And, as always, feel free to add your own in the comments below or in whichever social-media thread you found this:

  1. THE MOTH was a comic that had built up a fun, quirky momentum, then Steve Rude stopped producing it: I miss it 😀
