Severin, who is turning 87, was one of the only women working in mainstream comics in the Silver and Bronze ages and was one of the preeminent colorists of the day. She was also a terrific penciller with a dynamic style that very much fit with the House of Ideas.

I especially love the way she drew the Hulk. Maybe even better than Kirby’s version, if that’s possible.
