The Bronze Age stalwart and co-creator of Moon Knight, has died at the age of 94…
Don Perlin, the Marvel stalwart best known for his runs as artist on Werewolf by Night and The Defenders, as well as being the co-creator of Moon Knight, has died at the age of 94. (He was also a key artist at Valiant.)
He mostly handled interiors at Marvel but he also turned out a series of solid covers across several titles.

Geez, such sad news. I love Perlin. My first comic by him was Marvel Spotlight 29 than of course Werewolf by Night and his run on Ghost Rider is the definitive version of the character for me . My first issue of Ghost Rider Issue 27 , I especially liked the G.R. issues he did with Michael Fleisher.
Thanks Don for the great comics !

Aw, man… Don was the only professional i ever met. He was at a convention in the early 80s, drawing an issue of the Defenders… i want to say it was #108. RIP Don!

Was sad to hear of Mr. Perlin’s passing. His work on Werewolf by Night and Ghost Rider were top touch! Still feel like a kid again looking through issues from that period of time. Was fortunate to get Werewolf by Night #34 in a three pack of comics as a kid. I remember pouring through the pages and just loving Don’s work on that issue.
