One of comics’ most respected artists turns 61…

Denys Cowan — born 61 years ago on Jan. 30, 1961 — is one of comics’ most highly regarded artists, whether we’re talking Milestone, DC, Marvel or any other publisher.

In my mind, Cowan is least associated with Marvel, so just to be a little different, his 13 COVERS birthday salute this year focuses on his early-’80s run on Power Man and Iron Fist.
