I can’t believe I’ve never done this before.
In nearly four years of 13th Dimension, I’ve never done a David Mazzucchelli 13 COVERS salute. I can’t explain it and I’m kind of embarrassed about it, especially when you consider just how damn important his work is to comics.
That and the fact that he illustrated what just may be the perfect Batman story.
David Mazzucchelli was born Sept. 21, 1960, making him 57 years old.
Here’s some of his greatest work on Batman and Daredevil. If I coulda made it all Batman, I woulda. But he only worked on the one story. And hell, his Daredevil is great too, so…
