The late master of the macabre was born 72 years ago…
I always think it’s particularly fitting the Bernie Wrightson, one of comics’ greatest horror artists, was born in the run-up to Halloween. (Oct. 27, 1948.) It’s as if his destiny were carved from the beginning.
In any event, last year for our 13 COVERS birthday salute, we paid a visit to the House of Mystery. (Click here.)
