WICKED: Glinda Always Was a Real Piece of Work

SUNDAY FUNNIES WITH KERRY CALLEN!

Wicked’s out now and the film adaptation of the Broadway show gives us the back story of The Wizard of Oz, in which we learn that maybe the Wicked Witch of the West wasn’t so bad after all, and that perhaps Glinda the Good wasn’t so, well good.

See, life’s complicated, folks. Even life with flying monkeys, tin men and Munchkins.

Anyway, you don’t need to tell Kerry Callen that Glinda was overrated in the nice department:

And, Kerry — who is from the Kansas City area — asks: Why didn’t Glinda tell Dorothy right off the bat that all she had to do to get home was click her damn heels together three times in the ruby slippers?

Honestly.
