  3. Beautiful work, Kerry! This stuff hits me where I live! ;o). The 13th Dimension continues to be a “go-to” site for me. Super entertaining! Thanks Dan!!

  4. Wow! Excellent work there, Kerry. Esp. that last panel, as I was around with 1970s TV superhero-dom. Great likenesses of Reb Brown (Capt. America), Peter Hooten (Doc. Strange) and esp. Lou Ferrigno (Hulk).

And I will assume a nice likeness for Nicholas Hammond under the Spidey outfit–including a nice reference there on Spidey’s mask with the weird sieve-like metallic eyes (that puzzled me as a kid).

  6. While the others in that picture would be a massive downgrade (especially 70s Cap) and with no disrespect to Mark Ruffalo, I would have liked to see the Ferrigno/Bixby Hulk in the MCU.

  7. If you’re going to have 1988 Thor, you might as well have 1989 Daredevil too, but still amazing stuff as always from Kerry Callen!

  8. Ha I drew this exact same gag (minus Thor and Black Widow) for a “road to the Avengers movie” article in Wizard Magazine way back in 2011 – but Kerry drew it much better here!

  9. As always, Kerry does a fabulous job, both in what he comes up with and how he executes it. Bravo!
