Oct. 25 is National Frankenstein Friday, an annual observance held on the last Friday of every October (since 1997) for the famous story written by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (when she was just 18 years old!). Some would probably rather call it “National Frankenstein’s Monster Friday” since Frankenstein was the doctor, but either way it is a good time to celebrate the immortal creature of fiction in some of his many incarnations in comics.
