Cyberspace, the Final Frontier. These are the TREK TUESDAYS voyages of the website 13th Dimension. Its ongoing mission: to explore strange new stories about Star Trek during its 50th anniversary year, to seek out new angles and new ideas every week, to boldly go where plenty of people have gone before, but in a funky, fresh, interesting way…

I suppose it was inevitable that I was going to find some way to work the Batman TV show into our Trek Tuesdays feature.
Both Batman and Star Trek — like so many other pop-culture touchstones — debuted in 1966. But what’s cool for fans like us is just how many of the same actors appeared in Gotham and in the 23rd century at roughly the same time.
I don’t have an exact accounting, because there were unnamed Red Shirts who popped up as henchmen, or window cameos like Ted Cassidy’s Lurch, for example. Nevertheless, we present:
13 FAMOUS ACTORS WHO APPEARED ON BATMAN AND STAR TREK!
(Oh, and if you have a name you’d like to add, please feel free to do so in the comments below or in whichever social-media thread you found this!)
