Aside from the fact that it was predestined in 1938’s Action Comics #1, it’s only natural that Superman — our greatest champion and most powerful hero on Earth — would fall hard for Lois Lane.
She doesn’t have Wonder Woman’s powers but what she does have is exceptional intelligence, dedication to the truth, irrepressible spirit, (sometime caustic) candor, and fearlessness despite her physical, very human vulnerability. Superman may be the world’s north star — but Lois is his.
