Halloween has come and gone (and so has Thanksgiving, for that matter), but it doesn’t mean you have to put your scary toys away. In fact, with Christmas and Chanukah almost here, what better time to dive into the Lincoln Monsters “Monster Maker” Kickstarter, which is in its final days.

The Lincoln Monsters, as you probably know, were 8-inch, Mego knockoffs back in the ’70s. But as with everything, what was once considered low-rent can ultimately become beloved and treasured, and so it is, with the Lincoln Monsters.
Two of the 8-inch figs returned a year ago, thanks to folks like Jason Schiermeyer of White Elephant Toyz; Brian Heiler of Toy-Ventures Magazine; Todd Broadwater of Figure Fiend; and Frank Wojo of Absolutely Retro.
But, now the line has expanded with 3.75-inch plastic figs that allow you swap heads, limbs and accessories, making these ghouls — the Mummy, Wolfman, Count Dracula, Frankenstein, Phantom of the Opera, and Hunchback of Notre Dame — even more ghoulish.

The Kickstarter ends when November does, so you just have a few days to either get your order in — or strongly hint to a loved one that you’d like them to do it for you for the holidays. (They won’t get to you by then, but at least you’ll be able to bask in the knowledge they’re headed your way.)
As usual, there are all sorts of stretch goals, including Tomland Monster characters, playsets, and more. Click here for more info — and since the campaign is funded, it’s just a matter of getting in while the getting’s good.
