The CATWOMAN Cover You Really, Really Want

Courtesy of John K. Snyder III

Sometimes it’s just about showing off a dynamite piece of art.

Dig this fab sketch cover by John K. Snyder III, which he posted the other day on Facebook:

Now check it out up close:

“It’s based on the cover/splash page of 1951’s Batman #65 by Lew Sayre Schwartz and Charles Paris,” John sez.

“I did it on a separate piece of color paper with Prismacolor and paint, and spray-mounted it to the 2020 Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular sketch cover, adding the Bat image directly on the original cover surface.”

I can only dream of being that talented. Beautiful.

  3. Fantastic!

JKS is usually at Baltimore Comic-Con every year; I’ll have to remember to mention to him how much I liked this.
