Several thoughts:

— I believe this is the first time DC has scheduled two treasury Facsimile Editions in the same month — and the first time they’ve done it three months in a row, when you add in December’s Christmas With the Super-Heroes and January’s Superman vs. Spider-Man. (Correct me if I’m wrong.)
— You want the full table of contents? The Grand Comics Database has you covered, as usual.
— Among those stories is The Man Behind the Red Hood! from 1950’s Detective Comics #168. Of all of DC’s Facsimiles that they’ve yet to publish, I’m stunned by ‘Tec #168 the most. Even if you get the story here, it’s such a natural.

— This brings us to four of seven Facsimiles coming from DC in February. Check out the links below for info on the three others. On Thursday, we’ll bring you the rest.
— Obligatory Price Comparison: A VF+ original recently sold on eBay for about $40.

Love this – because I was an eleven-year-old kid when this came out, and like kids do, I cut out the diorama on the back…
November 19, 2025
Hoping for the follow up , Limited Collector’s Edition C-45 , “ More Secret Origins of Super Villains “ that I received Christmas Day as an 8 year-old way back in 1976.
November 19, 2025
I’m down for it! Remember getting this like it was yesterday. “Tempus fugit”
November 19, 2025
I wonder if the “Pow Wow Smith, Indian Lawman” banner is why we haven’t gotten ‘Tec #168,
November 20, 2025
DC could easily lead off a word or the whole banner if they felt like it would offend. I think most would recognize it as a historical piece if they left it on, though.

Can I hold out hope for a spring re-release of C-35, The Bible, in time for Easter and Passover? (I do have the hardcover rerelease from a few years ago, and yes, I keep it with my other LCE/ANCE facsimilies even though it’s in the wrong format.)
Anxiously awaiting tomorrow’s other three announcements.
November 19, 2025
That would be great (if DC did).

This is great, Adam!
November 19, 2025
Love what DC are doing here, and would also love that Red Hood issue. I’d like them to re-release some of the earlier facsimiles that didn’t get foil variants the first time, too, but that’s likely being very optimistic.
Hoping we get the remaining Batman treasury editions, and Marvel follows soon with theirs…
November 19, 2025
Talking to my LCS. They said they absolutely hate (not from a personal standpoint as they grew up on them) but as a retailer. They can’t sell them.
November 19, 2025
DC wouldn’t be doing them if they weren’t selling.
November 20, 2025
They sell out at all of the LCSs in my area, except one, which orders many extra copies for future sales.
