RED BATMAN: DC Pulls Switcheroo on Highly Anticipated McFARLANE TOYS Variant Cover

A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT…

DC Comics this month is running a series of variants featuring McFarlane Toys action figures. They’re pretty groovy, but the one I’ve been waiting for the most is the cover based on the Italian poster for the 1966 Batman movie, featuring a red Caped Crusader.

It was originally set to be released Nov. 20 as a Batman #155 variant. Thing is, that title is suffering from delays, so without fanfare, the publisher switched the much-awaited cover to Nov. 27’s Batman: The Brave and the Bold #19.

In other words, if you haven’t already, get in touch with your comics shop right-away quick and change your order if you can. This cover is likely to be popular with Batman fans, Batman ’66 fans, and McFarlane Toys fans alike.

I got my Red Batman figure, by the way, and that baby ROCKS. (Why is he red? Here’s why.)
