A few thoughts:

— Another Quality Comics offering from DC! Out later in May is Military Comics #1, featuring the debut of Blackhawk. Funny how Quality thought Firebrand was going to be its big star, judging by the Police Comics #1 cover.

Obligatory Price Comparison #1: House of Secrets #92 was one of the first Facsimile Editions released by DC in 2019. The first one now costs about $15-$16 on the secondary market. An unslabbed, midgrade copy of an original recently sold on eBay for about $1,625.

Obligatory Price Comparison #2: A slabbed, 4.0-graded copy of Police Comics #1 sold through Heritage Auctions in 2022 for $18,000, including buyer’s premium.

  2. Love the recent facsimiles . Glad the decided to start putting the bar codes on the back . Those beautiful unmarred covers . I’ve bought a few with no over price on the front , even better . And news print is the only way to go . And the thing is you know you’re going to get a great book even if you’ve never read the story . Wish they would do the first 12 issues of everything this way and if that goes well the next 12 . When Comic books were great ! MORE FACSIMILES !
