Unfortunate, but America’s only permanent museum dedicated to the show is still very much coming…
Hey, some tough news: Fiberglass Freaks’ Batman ’66 Museum in Logansport, Indiana, which was scheduled to open this weekend, has been delayed.
“Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the Fiberglass Freaks’ Batman Museum soft opening and grand opening dates are postponed,” said owner Mark Racop. “We have some red tape to take care of, and then we’ll be able to set a new opening date. The city of Logansport is working with us to make sure we have all of our ‘i’s dotted and our ‘t’s crossed (please do not make any negative comments about the city government — they have been fantastic). The lemonade is that we have a little more time to finish up some of the projects that were tight on time. I’ll keep you updated as we make additional progress. It’s looking great, and when it is completed, you are going to love it!”
Like the man said, lemonade from lemons. (Just make sure the Riddler doesn’t spike it!) In case you missed it, a couple weeks ago, we ran a gallery providing you with your FIRST LOOK at the museum. Click here to check that out.
And when we get more info on the opening, we will be sure to share it with you. Just keep coming back to 13th Dimension for updates.
In the meantime, for more information about the museum, contact mark.racop@fiberglassfreaks.com or 574-722-3237. Click here for Fiberglass Freaks’ website. The museum’s website is under construction but you can check it out here.
