March creators Congressman Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell, will be guests on The Rachel Maddow Show airing at 9pm on MSNBC Thursday, November 7th. This will be their first TV studio appearance as a full trio, not to mention the first graphic novel guest in the history of the Maddow show.
The sequential art story of the March Book One spans John Lewis’ youth in rural Alabama, his life-changing meeting with Martin Luther King, Jr., the birth of the Nashville Student Movement, and their battle to tear down segregation through nonviolent lunch counter sit-ins, building to a stunning climax on the steps of City Hall.
Lewis, Avdin, and Powell will also be signing Thursday night at Midtown Comics’ downtown location from 6-7.
